The Ann Adele
The Ann Adele was built in 1973 and is the second oldest cottage added to the property by Dr. Toennies, the current property owner's father.
She got her name from the middle of Dr. Toennies' three granddaughters (the daughter of the property owner). Ann Adele was a small cottage until 1999 when it was fully renovated, doubling its size and making it our largest. It is now a full two bedroom, two bath split-style cottage. The fully furnished master bedroom features a king size bed and its own half bathroom. The second bedroom, on the opposite side of the cottage from the master, features a double bed and a set of bunk beds. A full bathroom adjoins the great room. The total cottage living area is approximately 800 square feet. The cottage features a 32-inch streaming flat screen television and Starlink high-speed internet service. It is adorned with a knotty pine interior throughout with a cathedral ceiling in the kitchen and living area, and ceiling fans in both bedrooms and the living area. |
From the large deck on the east side of the cottage you will have a spectacular view of the Gulf of Saint Lawrence.
For the occasional cool night or morning, there is a modern propane stove in the living area and an electric heater in each bathroom. If you stay with us in June or July you may find the cottage’s namesake herself at the property. |
